The extensive restoration and sympathetic remodeling of one of Edinburgh’s finest and most notable historic homes, Arthur Lodge. In 1829 when Edinburgh’s city architect, Thomas Hamilton, completed the iconic Royal High School on the Calton Hill, his next project was Arthur Lodge which also has a neoclassical design and was the first development in Edinburgh to give country-style living within easy reach of the city centre.
